Paid family leave is pro-work, pro-family, and enjoys widespread public support across the country. A recent BPC poll confirmed that paid family leave is critical to getting workers back to work as the nation recovers from the pandemic. One tool that is available to help employers provide a paid leave benefit is the Strong Families Act tax credit. This existing credit is intended to help companies provide parental, family caregiving and medical leave.
Please join the Bipartisan Policy Center on June 10 where we will talk with the authors of the Strong Families Act Senators Deb Fischer and Angus King. We will explore details of the program, how we ensure that employers take advantage of the credit to expand access to leave benefits for their employees, and the learn lessons from this bipartisan achievement.
