In year’s past, she actively worked to enact the Hoover Power Allocation Act of 2011, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, and the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
Pickford grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Old Dominion University, and moved to Washington DC to work in policy. She earned a master’s degree from George Washington University.
