Sophia Ayaz

Sophia Ayaz is the Special Assistant to the Executive Director of BPC’s housing team. Prior to joining BPC, Ayaz worked as a paralegal subcontracted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. In this role, she gained experience in a broad range of administrative support tasks.

Ayaz received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Chinese Language and Culture from Wellesley College. During her undergraduate career, she also completed several internships, including those with the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, working directly on a China policy book with then-freelance journalist Isaac Stone Fish, and for Index on Censorship in London.
