Uzo Obele

Uzo Obele is BPC’s controller, responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities. Obele has over fourteen years of accounting experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining BPC, he served as the assistant controller at The Greater Washington Educational Telecommunications Association, where he focused on supporting all aspects of accounting, business, and operations efforts. Previously, he worked as an audit manager at Dixon Hughes Goodman. 

Obele is a certified public accountant and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, and his master’s degree in business administration from Frostburg State University.
