Scott Brown is a prominent diplomat, political leader and attorney, with a long history of public service. He previously served as U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand and the Independent State of Samoa—one of the longest serving ambassadors under the Trump Administration. During his tenure, he was instrumental in passing the Kiwi Act and expanding U.S. – NZ economic relations and cooperation in tech and innovation. In 2010, Brown won a special election and served in the U.S. Senate for three years representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. During his time in Congress, Brown served as ranking member on the Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and was frequently recognized as the most bipartisan Senator. He worked extensively on veteran’s issues, sex offender accountability, child trafficking and other law enforcement issues to keep children and families safe. Earlier in his career, Brown served as a legislator in the Massachusetts Statehouse.
