Carlos Curbelo

Carlos Curbelo is a former member of U.S. House of Representatives and co-founder of Vocero. First elected to Congress in 2014, Curbelo served on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the Education and Workforce Committee, the Small Business Committee, as well as the Committee on Ways and Means, where he co-authored the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017. While in Congress, Curbelo also was a leader on climate policy, immigration reform, and gun safety. He co-founded and co-chaired the bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus, served in a leadership role in the Problem Solvers Caucus, and led the Brazil Caucus to strengthen the bilateral relationship with Latin America’s leading economy. He returned to the private sector in 2019 when he co-founded Vocero, a communications and strategic consulting firm.

The newly-launched J. Ronald Terwilliger Housing Policy Center is BPC’s first named policy center. The center is working to advance bipartisan policies that support broad access to affordable housing by expanding supply and better supporting households.
