Brian O’Gara

Brian O’Gara is a Policy Analyst for BPC’s Health Program. Prior to BPC, O’Gara worked as the government relations intern with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), where he focused on policy issues such as surprise medical billing, Medicare prior authorization, and drug pricing. He also worked for two years overseeing the Mid-Atlantic Region of the Roosevelt Network, a nationwide network of college chapters that supports progressive student-driven policy and advocacy. O’Gara graduated from American University in May 2020, receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science and Public Health.
