States are in a race against time to deliver about $46 billion in emergency rental assistance to families impacted by COVID-19, behind on their rent, and at risk of eviction as moratoriums expire. Join BPC for a webinar with Matthew Desmond, author of the Pulitzer-Prize-winning book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City and principal investigator at Princeton University’s Eviction Lab, who will share his thoughts on the current crisis and answer your questions. The webinar will also include a discussion on the implementation of emergency rental assistance programs and opportunities to promote long-term housing stability.
